Our Fall Kickoff Sunday will September 12th.  All are welcome to our special service beginning at 10:00 a.m.   Following the service we are planning a “Tailgate Party” and some fun in the parking areas around the church.  Visitors are specially welcome!  Bring a friend! or two!  Bring lawn chairs!  Bring cutlery and plates!  (If you forget we will provide the necessaries for you.)

I am looking forward to great things from God this fall and winter.  God has been so gracious in the past and it is exciting to meet new friends all the time.

Hi and welcome.  As a church we love to welcome newcomers to our city and to our church.  We are a warm and friendly group of Christians who enjoy sharing in each other’s faith. We’re confident you will fit right in.  We love Jesus Christ and enjoy delving into the riches of God’s Word as we enter into worship together.  We enjoy having fun together, including a monthly fellowship meal, and we have home Bible Studies and children and youth ministries for the entire family.

Come and join us for worship.  We meet every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at our wonderful facility, 250 Tenth Avenue.

Thank you for your support of our young people as they prepare to attend the HistoryMaker Conference, May 21-23rd.

Sunday, May 2nd: the Youth will be preparing the food for the Sunday Fellowship Lunch following the morning service. Please join us for
this meal of hot dogs, hoagies, chili, salad and dessert. Lunch will be by donation.

Saturday, May 8th: from 8 a.m. til noon, the Youth will be holding a garage sale at Discovery Community Church in the lobby. If you have any items to donate to the garage sale, please contact the church office. We will also be selling hot dogs and baked goods. Any donations of baked goods would be greatly appreciated.

Sponsors Needed for HistoryMaker:
In addition to the fund raising which cover the cost of transportation and accommodation for the trip, 5-6 sponsors are needed to
assist with the registration costs of $90.00 per teen. Please speak to Cheryl Hessel or one of the pastors if you are able to assist in this
way.

Following Easter, Pastors Larry Martin and Ron Quinton will be commencing with a new sermon series entitled, “R U Connected?”  We are excited about this sermon series as we truly believe that the God who invites us into prayer is the backbone – the foundation of the church.

The sermon series on John will be picked up again in a short while.

This coming season is one of the dearest to the hearts of believers everywhere and we invite you to be part of our Easter Celebrations.  On March 28th, we will celebrate Palm Sunday as Jesus approached Jerusalem for His final days on earth.  On Good Friday, April 2nd we will join with the other evangelical churches at 10 am at the Campbell River Baptist Church for a service of remembrance of Jesus’ crucifixion.  Then on Sunday, April 4th, Easter Sunday – Resurrection Sunday we will rejoice together in praise of our Saviour who died on the cross, and who arose triumphant over sin and death.

Please join us for these wonderful services.  This is a wonderful season to remember the priceless salvation God offers to each of us.
